Last April, nag-birthday ako! (hehe, innanounce daw ba??) Well, I just wanna share what happened to my birthday…
Here goes the story…
A week before my birthday, I was thinking paano mag-birthday… ahehe? Kasi since nagkaisip ako, I don’t usually celebrate my birthday through a party! Noong maliit pa ako, I mean bata pa ako, ako nag-gagaganun… Hehe!
Spending time with my family… or with myself alone… eh ok na! Celebrating with friends? Sobrang super bihira lang! Approximately never! Feeling ko kasi nakakapagod ayun mag-prepare! So nitong aking latest birthday, my parents & family are out of my reach… So I did plan, para maiba lang naman, to have a dinner with some dearest friends… (aside from celebrating, gusto ko rin makasama sila kahit for few hours lang and talk.)
Sunday before my birthday, when mukhang matutuloy na si dinner… eh biglang nagka-conflict! Kailangan pumunta sa isang church nung mga supposedly makakasama ko for dinner on my very birthday… and tapos kasama din pala ako dun! SHEMPRE!!! Gawain yun for the Lord… obviously, mas importante yun! Opkors.. cancelled si dinner.
April 10, heto na! I woke up early para bumalik sa EGR ng youth, the Lord birthed in my heart to fast and pray for the day… para sa mga bagay bagay na mangyayari sa buong araw. Hehehe, kahit birthday natin, si Lord parin ang masusunod! It is still, always, and will forever be not about us!... Kahit birthday pa natin!! Magpakabusog nalang sa Word ni Lord! Mas mainam pa! It’s not a case to case basis when we’re talking about obedience to the Lord. By God’s grace… may WE always obey!
So ayun na nga, after EGR, we went to marikina. I was just silently praying habang nasa jeep while I was filled with great joy and excitement of what the Lord will do sa pupuntahan namin... Having an expectant heart before our great great God!
I won’t put so much detail about what happened, all I can say is PRAISE GOD and ALL GLORY UNTO HIM! It was really a blessing for me to be there… having a great opportunity of worshipping the Lord, basking in His very presence and witnessing how He worked… sa akin personally and sa mga taong anduon.
SULIT NA YUNG REGALO NI LORD! It was a great, great, GREAT gift I received na hinding hindi ma-e-equate to any earthly birthday gift I ever had. If ever nagkaroon man ako ng gift/s, sobrang matutuwa rin nman talaga ako opkors, lalo na kung gitara eyun, hehe! But it won’t equate to what the Lord gave me this time. Kneeling down before the Lord in worship and in awe of who He is truly satisfies me. Being in His very presence, WAWNESS!
MORE OF YOU LORD in the coming years…
Ang saya that night, maliit lang yung place where we all were but ramdam mo naman si God! Kaya panalo! Wala sa husay ng musicality or in any other things na ginagawa during worship ma-ibbase ang pagbuhos ng presence ng Lord. It is primarily in the hearts of the worshippers! Hearts that are seeking His face, hearts that are longing for His touch, hearts that are yearning for more of Him, hearts that are grateful no matter what the circumstance is… A heart that desires to worship and exalt the Lord high above all else!
